Anyone seen the video for Metallica's song called 'One'? It's awful with this young guy horrendously wounded in war....no arms, no legs, can't see or communicate....presumably disfigured in some way too because his face is inside a sort of bandaged cage. You see him jerking his head a lot and finally someone realises he's communicating in morse code by nodding. They work out it's SOS and 'kill me' and it's gut-wrenchingly awful. I find this far more disturbing and shocking than ANYTHING that the likes of Marilyn Manson and Slipknot could EVER throw at me.
Disturbing video
That video and song is based on a book. I can't remember what the book is called. It is very disturbing and awful especially if your eat a meal at the time they show it, but I suppose it was to have that effect.
The book and the film(starring Jason Robards) were call Jonny got a gun and its one of the best anti war books or movie you will ever see its actule clips from the movie in the one video witch I think is a brill song and vid

One is one of the most thought provoking videos (and songs) Ive seen/heard. Listen to the lyrics of the song next time... I remember some of the lyrics:

Many people ended up like the man in the video in the wars of the past.. Its one big wake up call to the people who dont respect what our elders sacraficed when called upon to defend their country.
Another video that moves me nearly to tears is Miss Sarajevo by U2.. a song about a beauty contest in war-torn Sarajevo.. I very much doubt the video will be aired on the music channels these days due to the nature of the video, but its another one of those wake up calls. Very emotional stuff.
