I have just bought a WRT54GP2 router from ebay and have been trying to set up Sipgate on it but am having no luck.
The router says it it connected but I dont have a dialtone and it dosnt ring when I ring and test it. I have followed the instructions on the Sipgate site and serach the interent but it still won't work! Is there anybody that has managed to set Sipgate up on their WRT54GP2? |

Yes mine's working fine no problems, unfortunately I haven't seen this until late so I'm not going through all my settings at min. Try flashing back to factory defaults then following the instructions on Sipgate site, make sure you have the stun server and SIP addresses in properly too. Also check your VOIP settings that aren't in the default menu at -

Linksys PAP2-uk and Sipgate
Hi
I've got the Linksys PAP2T adaptor up and running and configured it (using the voxilla wizard) annd I'm almost there but the DECT phone doesn't ring but shows a missed call! I've read many web pages but need a little help as I want to use VOIP Stunt for making calls and Sipgate for recieving calls so I though try the Sipgate settings first! It appears to dial out and if I answer (pick up) the phone I get a connection but I'm also not sure which Line Socket to use on the PAP2 (1 or 2)or which Line settings on the web admin page, again line 1 of 2.... Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks |

Update...
I've changed the ring type from Sinusiod to Trapezoid and all is fine now. I've configured Line 1 with my VOIP Stunt Settings and now got both the Green lights are on but if Sipgate is on Line 2 and VOIP Stunt is on Line1 do I need two phones...one to make calls and one to answer calls? I realise thats probably not the way to do it but can't understand how it can dial out on one provider and ring on the other. Hope someone can help Thanks in advance |
