For studying I HAVE to have music on, although something quite peaceful, say AIR or Supertramp. Without music I just going insane by thinking about the work to much!

For driving, I think music (but more so, people talking), distract you, but it just makes the trip hellishly dull if the radio isn't on.

I need music as often as possible.
I get twitchy in the pub when the jukebox stops, costs me a fortune
But when it comes to studying and stuff I MUST have music on, i feel uncomfortable otherwise

If I need to really concentrate at something, like an important letter or setting up a database. I like to have some heavy rock on, but if I feel tired and I put something that'll send me to sleep ie easy listening.

i hate doing coursework/study in silence. The silence annoys me more than the music. Although i find if i have music on i end up singing along to it instead of working, but most of the time it does help me to concerntrate.

I think the worst thing for me was doing any exam
Pure silence

One day they might let people wear headphones in them
