2) She betrayed Imogen, disclosing secrets about a midnight heart to heart between Imogen, Sam and Lisa, causing the friction between Sam and Lea. There is no defending this, but it is the only thing she did wrong in the whole time she was in there.”
I don't agree that Susie deserved to have water thrown over her but I understand the points you are making.
I appreciate Grace. I don't think that you have to condone what she did, or even to necessarily like her, in order to appreciate her.
To me Grace, is a person with a certain style. High in self confidence and self belief, she is a natural leader and a clear member of the social elite. She is able to deal confidently with any situation and able to deal effectively with the rudeness of others. She has a very well developed sense of humour, is not easily hurt, and is able to use bitching and "applied rudeness" as a very effective weapon in group situations.
Watching Grace was a fascinating experience. She absolutely controlled her own group in that house, so much so that Big Brother had to intervene directly to try and smash her hegemony.
So I can appreciate her for that, whilst recognising that she has many faults. But I think you have to take account of the fact that she is only 21. With a girl such as Grace, with her intense personal charisma and her alpha qualities, it's not surprising that she has an arrogance and an attitude of self superiority. I think that she still has some maturing to do, but so do many 21 year olds.
