Lipstick by Alesha Dixon.

It's one of those songs that feels very "international", rather than gloomy Britain.

Various - The World is Gone - new LP on XL recordings. If you like Massive Attack check it out

The Freelance Hellraiser - Waiting for Clearance LP. Indie pop and rock with a dance edge from the geezer wot done that Christina Aguilera vs The Strokes bootleg a few years ago. Gary from Snow Patrol sings on half of it.

Gorgeous song.

You read my mind! Monster Hospital video is also amazing.

I would also recommend:

The Flaming Lips...The W.A.N.D

Scissor Sisters...I Don't Feel Like Dancing

Guillemots....Through The Windowpane(already recommended by someone but it deserves a second mention )

The Strokes...You Only Live Once

Muse...Knights Of Cydonia

xx
