A friend mentioned these too me, and I checked them out, but I have to say, I'm slightly confused - on one hand they seem to seem a bit of a pastiche, but on the other had they seem to do some fairly 'straight-up' sort of songs.
For instance the Mr Sandman version I thought was very good, but the modern covers, I'll be honest, I agree with Madge, and say I didn't really think they they worked. This is a little odd, as I thought I'd really like them, as I am very fond of Richard Cheese, and similar ilk. I'll prolly end up listening some more though, and end up liking it! |

I love these girls already, and I only heard about them today
![]() Have a look at their site and listen to some of the tracks on the left hand side. http://www.thepuppinisisters.com/ Mr Sandman, Wuthering Heights, Heart of Glass, and Java Jive are my favourites so far.
