Could Katie possibly get a week off? I VERY much doubt it!

Marli has just said on the Choice programme that she thinks that Sinead should be on probation next week as she missed the beginning of her song.

I thought that she did start singing on time but that the mike wasn't on ?

Sounds like sour grapes from Marli methinks.

in a way Marli was right remember Malachi was put on Probation for not smiling in his song.

but, sinead had no control with the sound ????????

I suspect they will announce Katie but keep us hanging on with Mal & Ains in the balance similar to last week.

I think Katie and Malachi will be put up for probation until they go.Its a shame but the teachers make it obvious these two are not winning material.
I love the pair of them and am sure they will go on to have a career in showbiz or music anyway.

They wont pick Lemar or Sinead and in all fairness these two do have that little extra something.

Ainslie is middle and whilst he and Malachi have me in stitches and I think he has a good voice,I feel he may be too diverse for the winner of a programme like this.Although if old Richard has anything to do with it Ains will be there till the end.

Do you think Richards enjoying the whipping escapades and thats why hes so biased?

On choice kevin said they are going to put the 2nd probation up tommorow and the 3rd on wednesday - bit unfair isn't it??

1. KATIE. Why does everyone keep on saying that Katie deserves a week off - that is not fair on the other students, who are clearly better than her. The thing people forget that there is only 6 places left and by last nights performances, it is pretty obvious that Katie is not as good as the others. Noone is saying she is crap, but it has come down to the last lot and there are people with a lot more originality and she cant songwrite like ALL the others, so could you really blame Pam for wanting her up again. If she deserves to stay, shell win the public vote or survive. I think they are all gonna sing solos anyway from now on.

2. DAVID - well he has already been named.

2. DONT think Ainslie should be on, as I thought his interpretation was great, if not the way Carrie wanted him to say it. Sinead screwed up this week as well as last week and she wasnt put on probation for her mistake last week, but made grade A. Sinead mistake wasnt just the sound at the beginning. Luckily for her she was playing the guitar, the strumming went on for a little longer that it was supposed to, but good recovery and I think she's a terrific singer.
Dont think Malachi should be on. Performance great, singing great, songwriting skills great - but I guess theyll use the image thing again.

3. Personally think Lemar should be on probation. He doesnt seem to be learning from his mistakes - he has been told time and time again about overperforming and using his hands too much and his breathing. He also doesnt seem to have the edge in songwriting. I havent heard him songwrite for weeks, and as for the Lionel Ritchie song they made up, which Lemar sang virtually soloy, it was actually Camilla that wrote most of that, NOT Lemar.

Ok, it really doesn't take a genius to work out who the probationers are gonna be this week does it? It was obvious before last night's show even started and the pretence of suspense at the end by naming one of the probationers fell flat on it's face when anyone with half a brain knew it was going to be David.
It is obviously going to be Malachi and Katie joining him and all this crap about naming one today and the other on Wednesday, well, it's hardly going to create any suspense is it?
In an ideal world I'd like to see Ainslie and Lemar up there but we know that's never going to happen - no way will they risk losing either of them until they have to - and even Katie knows she'll be up again. They should just get it over with and name them now and stop this pathetic pretence that it's all still an extremely hard decision. It's not, and most of us know that now.
The whole show is a sham now and I for one can't bear to watch too much of it anymore when it's so clearly biased and planned to the last letter.
Sorry, but I totally agreed with Nigel last night - there's an agenda in there and it's spoilt the whole thing for me.
And if I hear that age old worn out excuse of "they have to find their own identity" once more I swear I'll scream. Will somebody tell Ainslie to try and find his then please and to stop imitating Jarvis Cocker!

Chukka, I agree with just about everything you have said.

Last night I just felt so frustrated too, I was one of the first people to realise that some kind of probation announcement would be made and although I fully expected David's name to be announced, it made me so angry too.

However, If Katie doesn't let it get to her too much and David took it well too, I took a leaf out of their book and decided to do the same.

But what I don't get is that some posters turn nasty - there is no need for it and the students supported would probably not like it or expect it either.

As David just said a second ago - next week will be interesting, because they have to put up ...errr somebody.

The students know what's going on ......

To be honest though - there is only a few weeks left and everyone is singing solos. If they cant survive the public vote now, then they aren't gonna win overall, so I dont think it really matters anymore.

Well Nickymonger - I say katie needs a week off because I like her better as a person than several of the others and I couldn't give a rat's ass about the music...........
