OK, here's the official tracklist from Oasis's site -
Rock n Roll Star
Some Might Say
Talk Tonight
Lyla
The Importance of Being Idle
Wonderwall
Slide Away
Cigarettes & Alcohol
The Masterplan
Live Forever
Acquiesce (re-recorded for release as a single)
Supersonic
Half The World Away
Go Let It Out
Songbird
Morning Glory
Champagne Supernova
Don't Look Back In Anger
That isn't very pretty, is it? Noel is just crazy. No new songs, which is total crap. I don't care if Noel doesn't want any of his future songs involved with Sony, he should have at least provided something. Calling it 'Stop The Clocks' and then not having the song Stop The Clocks on it is just going to infuriate fans, as is the tracklist.
Where the hell are the following?
Stand By Me
The Hindu Times
Stop Crying Your Heart Out
(Three of their most popular and memorable singles that all the 'mainstream' crowd would like on this disc. Silly Noel for leaving them off)
Whatever
Roll With It
Shakermaker
Gas Panic! (Familiar To Millions version)
D'You Know What I Mean
Let There Be Love
they're all other contenders. The fact that The Masterplan, Talk Tonight and Half The World Away are on there is further proof that Noel has lost his mind. If you want the b-sides get 'The Masterplan' b-sides collection! This 'best of' should have been limited to a-sides and album tracks (with the exception of the newly recorded Acquiesce).
Other tracks that are seriously pushing it being on there are 'Idle' (even though the mainstream know it), Cigarettes & Alcohol (there's too many Definitely Maybe tracks, and this is the one I would take off, just BUY Definitely Maybe!), Songbird (you cannot tell me that Stop Crying Your Heart Out shouldn't be on there instead of this!) and Morning Glory (a good song but why put it on when there's big singles like Roll With It left off?)
One word - mental.
