iPod help

Hello i baught an iPod off of a mate yesterday and i like some of his songs and would like to keep them but also want to delte some and andd my own ones on but if i plug it in it will wipe all of his and just put mine on from iTunes.

Can anyone help?

Get a program that lets you copy music from an iPod to a PC.

This will put the files onto your PC so that you can sort through and delete or keep them (copyright permitting).

Then you can wipe the iPod and put both collections together in iTunes to start your own library.
