Nokia/Vodafone Low calling credit
finlux

Hope someone can help. I've recently upgraded from a Nokia 5110 to a Nokia 1600. I've kept my original sim & phone number. On my 5110, when my credit was very low, I'd receive a message "Your calling credit is running low, please arrange a top-up", but nothing on my shiny new 1600.

Is there any way I can enable this feature or was it only on the 5110?

Many thanks

That feature is on the SIM card not the phone. You should still get that message. The network might be having technical problems at the moment, or your credit might not be low enough to warrant that message yet.

Thanks for your reply!

I've had my phone for over a month now, & twice had to top up - once by me checking, the second time I had 9p credit left. Obviously, I couldn't dial out, but still had no warning message.

Hi,

I work for Vofafone and we're currently experiencing technical difficulties with the Pay as You Talk credit systems not alerting you to top up.

This is currently being investigated as a high priority.

Unfortunately we have no time scale as to when this will be fully operational again.

You can also dial 2345 free from your handset to find your remaining balance.
