does anybody know whos signed for scd4 or when it will be announced

I am getting really excited now. not long to go.

They have increased it to 14 couples to start earlier to compete with X Factor, but now X Factor is starting mid August so it's all for nothing, unless they want to start in three weeks time which will not happen!

Go back to 12 couples and start late september I say.

And also, make sure no-one gets voted out in the first week like they did for the first series, at least the all the hard work isn't over in one night.

Must admit, there haven't been as many rumours this series. The BBC must be running a very tight ship this year. Either that, or they haven't booked anyone yet.

I can't believe there haven't been any rumours either. Somebody must know something surely.

Could be that they haven't signed anybody yet. Or maybe they can't get anybody! After all it's going to be a longer run this time and therefore more demanding physically and emotionally. It's known as being one of the toughest reality shows to go on. Eating bugs in the jungle might be preferable to some celebs!!

The only rumour I heard a while back was Sarah Beeny from Property Ladder.

There's bound to be a few Holby City/Casualty/Eastenders cast members thrown in. Dot Cotton, Minty..........
Another newsreader or sports star. Maybe an ex-footballer we've had cricket, athletics, rugby and erm.....snooker. How about Gary Lineker, Alan Hansen......Bruce's chin double Jimmy Hill.
I would not be surprised if the BBC put Adrian Chiles in there as well, he's on everything else.

Does anyone know if there are plans for another Xmas special? It wasn't mentioned in the press release for the autumn schedule. I hope they get stars from the US again.

Hell no!! The last Christmas special with the stars from the US was dreadful. If they do another Xmas Special I hope they come up with something better than that.

The quality of dancing from the celebs on the last US DWTS was much higher than SCD and that's what it's about for me - the dancing.

The Xmas special was exactly the same as a regular SCD programme but themed, hence the title

Personally I thought it was a waste of time and a very ill conceived idea. It wasn't even a fair competition as the UK dancers outnumbered the US ones. You could tell Evander Holyfield didn't want to be there and the whole thing was just embarrassing.

They surely can't have everyone dancing to Christmas tunes again this year.

It would have been better if they got more competitors. That's the nature of SCD it's not a fair competition. It's like returning professionals will have their followings (some from 3 series now) and have that advantage over the new pro's.

I really liked how they managed to change the Xmas tunes to fit the dances. They were really well done.

ive heard that Nikki Sanderson from Corrie has been asked from a friend who knows her, wonder who would partner her?

Don't know if you have heard but Karen Hardy is doing SCD

She announced on Monday at her dance class and said apart from her close family we were the first to know

yaaay and we were there while she announced it, how great was that Sorry am still not quite over the excitement yet

Me neither! I can't wait! She has to win!

I would love to see her in the final, I hopew she has a good partner, something tells me she may have someone younger this year

You obviously never watched it last year, she is one of the professionals who was in series 3 and we have just heard that she will be in series 4 too whch is great cos she is fab
