Is it possible to join two recordings together?

I don't think so on the toppy itself. I have seen somewhere a TAP this you can create a playlist.

I would be interested if it is possible to create a copy of a recording (with a TAP as I don't think you can do it native). And (sorry being greedy) take a portion of a recording a create a new copy - not save as a separate file and modify the original which the Toppy seems to do (although this is really useful when you want to split a recording; like when you have recorded two programmes back to back).

Of course you can make a copy of a recording; the manual (rev 4, certainly) explains how - just press Rec while you're playing somehting back. You can do it at six times speed if you want.

And if you just want a segment, play the original file until you get to the place where the segment begins, press Rec, and then press Stop at the end of the segment.

Nigel.
