Big Brother changed the rules or conditions or whatever you would call them of the eviction phone in after people had already phoned in and spent their money.

This is not allowed under offcom rules.

I think we should wait and see what happens tonight.

But if they do go back in or are eligible to win then i think people should complain to offcom

Yes, people might have voted differently if they'd known two would be evicted.

What do you mean go back in??? I thought 2 HMs were being evicted tonight?

Now really confused....

this is true but what can you do? you will get people saying the usual big brother can change the rules at any time crap, but that should only be in the case of the housemates and the house, the rules should not be changed when it comes to the voting public who have spent their money.

We should have been told from the beginning that two people were going to be evicted.

There's also a rumour that some ex-housmeates are going back in.

It's been in the Sun and other papers.

If you look around, you should find some threads on it.

No they didn't - the voting is still to evict, whether it be 1 person (with the other chosen by a different method), or 2 people (ie, most votes)

The only "extra" information we have is that an ex-HM is returning tonight, but that will be a seperate phone-in

No need to call OFCOM

Sorry i was referring to specutation of other housemates going in, my mistake

But yes people should have been informed and the only way BB will get away with it is if people just sit back and do nothing! Wither BB reserves the right to change rules does not make them exempt from offcoms rules and regulations!!!!!

It is different thought because the tactics to keep your fav in is different if you are voting to evict 1 HM or 2 HMs esp if its the top 2 HMs going.

Wait. What's the problem here?

its not really much of a difference but i see your point

i might have voted to evict imogen aswell if i knew it might save a second person from eviction

At the end of the day, it's YOUR choice if you vote umpteen-million times at 25p a throw, or if you vote once.

I never vote, because I like to keep my money in my pocket! Therefore I have no influence on who stays or goes, and can freely argue the toss either way

Yes there is if an ex-housemate goes back in with the chance to win. People paid money to vote them out. When Jon Tickle went back in in BB4 he was not eligible to win.

I've put a long post on another thread and I agree with the opener!! I spent a lot of money evicting some of the ex housemates and feel very strongly that 1 cannot go back in, especially if they are allowed to win.

This is a hotch potch ruse by BB to make more money and I for one will stop watching if this happens.

Hang on. Doesn't "Big Brother can change the rules at any time" affect only the HOUSEMATES at any time.

Surely, this doesn't mean the public too!

Public spend money voting to evict a housemate.

The housemate is evicted.

The housemate is reintroduced to the BB house weeks later and is eligible to win the competition.

They're NOT eligible to win. Period.

There's no subterfuge here......

When the voting was announced, it was stated that you were voting to EVICT. There was no need to add that it was a double eviction.

The ex-HM going in is a seperate phone vote, and is NOT eligible to win, that's always the case.

BB only changes the rules for current HMs, not the public...

Calm Down, Dear, it's only Big Brother. It's not the be-all and end-all of life itself!!!

It is only 25p to vote. How have you "spent a lot of money".

You can't say this is 'always' the case as it has only happened once before with John Tickle so what's stopping BB changing the rules?

Calm down dear. Your money went on voting someone out, the one with the most votes will go. Whatever else happens after that is unrelated. Where's the problem?

Well that will only happen if the majority of people want this housemate to win. If that's the case then tough luck - majority rules.

Does it matter? The whole things a farce anyway. What does winning actually mean? Look at Anthony, Nadia & Cameron.

Even if the HM was eligible to vote I don't see the problem. It is a game-show that has public participation - so what if they change the rules on us.... all part of the fun!
