When I move to ntl digital how much of the service is in a widescreen compatable format?? Cheers. John.

Hard to give an accurate figure, but I would say there is definitley more WS progs than 4:3 and it is increasing all the time.

If you intend to spend a reasonable ammount on a TV set, you'll find little choice of good quality in 4/3 these days. Nearly all the decent TVs made now are widescreen. Some makers only make widescreen now. Makes sense to go that route as you'll likely have the tv for 7 - 10 years and in that time widescreen programmes will be everywhere.
