ipod video lead
I have an ipod video, is it possible to conect it to a tv so i can watch the videos on a tv? Can i get a ipod to phono lead for videos?

Yep.
Apple do one, the pin out is different to a standard lead. it's around £15 from memory. |

ive been told that i can use a camcorder lead. its a 3.5mm jack to 3 phono's. Is that OK?

not really, the wiring is different inside, you can use it if you connect the white/yellow/red connections a different way around.

Red RCA plug into your TVs yellow RCA jack, Yellow -white (tv) and White- red (tv). |

I've not tried this, but, do the menus and everything of the iPod come up on the TV screen? if so, this could come in very handy for me!

I tried it when I first got my video iPod but not since (never really had the need). IIRC the tv doesn't show any menus at all. Just the video you're outputting.

Damn, that's that idea out of the window then, it would have been ideal, combined with the universal dock and remote.
