I thought they were referring to how many dates they went on? According to them, they've had only three 'proper' dates. Or did I read it wrong?

It says they;ve only seen each other "properly" about 3 times....but I'm not reading too much into that.....Nikki is the queen of exaggeration (can imaginne her saying " about Three times" when she means not as many as we'd like LOL)...and Pete rarely gives a straight answer...he seems like he's sending the OK reporters up a bit to me..with all the feild stuff ect

Oh, yeah, definitely. Pete seemed to be taking the mick out of the interviewer. Bless him.

I also think both - especially Pete - were tired and, if I read their answers right, bored with the whole interview lark.

I think you could be right rosemary....They've been seen out in public several times....Parties, nights out etc.

Welcome Ertana from a fellow newbie. Agree with your sentiments entirely. I can't help feeling that the fact this BB was thirteen weeks long is one of the reasons I'm finding it impossible to let go. I've invested so much emotion in watching that programme and feel like I've gone on some of the housemate's roller coaster journeys with them particularly Pete's. So I too really hope he's doing fine and is happy now he's back in the big wide world.

And I think Pete is little homesick too

Agents can be pretty pushy and Pete isnt the most assertive of people...I hope he's OK.

Actually..I'm kind of glad he has Nikki really..I think he really needs somebody st the moment..as he says..she takes the edge off of it

Maybe they have taken the comments in OK (we should say we've split up etc.) and run with it.
Must be a slow news day though IMO this one is really silly.
In the space of a paragraph they go from "never been an item" to phone sex. More "friends" quoted as well.

Also an article in the Daily star which seems to be picking up Pete's jokey replies and treating them as truth, sorry no link to that one.

I can't imagine Richard saying that anyway..as he has said in every magazine and TV interview since leaving BB that they are for real..he's not going to want to make himself look a liar..its probably a comment thats been taken completely out of context..or maybe he's helping them with their "we should tell people we've split up" plan LOL

Just popped in quickly to say hello. Sorry to hear about the storm you had last night rosemary. Didn't have anything in Suffolk. Hope you and your furry critters are all fine now. I know some animals react to storms worse than others. They have no effect on my dog and cat at all but I did have an Old English Sheepdog once that used to get really upset.

Anyway it's nice and warm and sunny where I am at the moment and I'm feeling really happy and positive. Can't really say what I was doing earlier this morning but another one of my dreams just come true - I'm still pinching myself - so I'm hoping I can pass some good vibes onto this thread and it will be a brilliant day for everyone!!!

I used to have a Border Collie, who used to try and climb down my throat when there was a thunder storm ..he was afraid of spiders too..and I had to lift him across the room if there was one on the floor..despite the fact that he was nearly as big as me

Re: today's newspaper articles. I refuse to believe a lot of the stuff that's printed in the tabloids. I know they love to create controversy because basically that's what sells the papers. I'm still on a high so I'm going to let it all go over my head today.

I've just read the Star article..and to be honest ....its not as bad as I had feared

Its basically a two page pull out spread..one page dedicated to Pete, the other to Nikki..and they have pointed out the differences between them..ie Pete likes partying all night, Nikki likes to go to bed early, that kind of thing.

It says friends are questioning their relatrionship because they are so different ..but then goes on to talk about them going to parties together and how when they sleep together, she gets up early to make breakfast, while he'd lay in bed until 7PM if he could (wouldnt we all )

There isnt actually anything derogatory about either of them, just pointing out the obvious really...but to dedicated two whole pages to them..it just proved Pete and Nikki sell papers...

There is also a number to ring to say if you believe the realtionship is genuine or not....but thats just a money spinner for the Star

So all in all....its actually not bad news at all

Edit: I've just noticed..the whole thing is actually an advert for the OK interview...there is picture of this weeks OK in the corner with "for more exclusive Pete and Nikki words and pictures, get OK magazine on sale now" written underneath

Pete made it very clear he didnt feel "that" way about Lea in the house..infact it was the most assertive we saw him.. he made pretty sure she got the message

So try as she might..I dont think she stands a chance out of it, where its easier for him to run away ...

I think he likes and perhaps is grateful to her for her supoort..but I dont think he will every think of her of anything other than in a motherly way

Hi Susann, you ok, these threads are getting boring now, spend a lot of time looking at GD and chatter, more friendly there, apart from this thread of course.
