I managed to get a copy of New magazine (Sept 18th issue) ..with the picture of Pete with dark hair...its pretty good actually, There is a synopsis of the JR show...and they call Pete and Nikki their "fave new lovebirds" and say that they are a perfect match..it also talks about them putting up a nervous but united front on the JR show

Did anyone see Ian Drury on the TV programme last night?
For some reason he reminds me of Pete, I don't know why.
It was an excellent programme but then I am a fan. RIP Ian Drury.

Yes..I saw that...its Top Of The Pops magazine I think..but I'm not sure if its this weeks or not

I was surprised at his Mother's side of the family. Thank goodness she married Ian's, Dad. I wish he was still alive he would have been a good person to give Pete advice.

Flipping heck, I couldn't believe it when I read your post. I said exactly the same thing to my hubby a couple of weeks ago!!!!! I'm exactly the same - I can't put my finger on what the connection is but there's definitely something about Pete that reminds me of Ian.

This is really spooky - I had ian dury on in the car today on the way to work.

I am so Glad that Ds is back - hubby reckoned I was going cold turkey last night he said I was a stroppy b*tch.( which was most probably true)

Rosemary and trinsk, I have checked again and you didn't see the programme. You must have wondered what the heck I was talking about.

Ian visited a house that he used to stay in Ireland. It was detached and large like something out of Jane Austen! His Mother was the daughter of a Doctor and his Dad was a Bus Driver in London. You can guess the rest - hence my saying thank goodness his Mother married his Dad, regardless of what her family thought.
