Pete's the most charismatic and loveable housemates ever on BB. He has to win!

Haven't watched the clips, but just adding my name to the list. He's the only one in there I'd actually want to spend time with.

Yes, but somehow many people think you're supposed to vote for (or never vote out) someone absolutely hideous because that is deemed to be 'entertaining' .

What's wrong with 'likeability'?

Ah, okay - I've never used 'ignore' but I've obviously never realised the same s**t is always coming from the same mouth .

It's rare to see so many straws being grasped to garner some (any) kind of 'criticism'.
you're right... the criticism of Pete is old and tired and a grasp at straws! I've made my replies to the critics and now feel bored by the same old arguments made by Pete detractors - I really cannot be bothered to get into the same arguments and debates with them, because they are as fixed in their opinions as I am in mine!
It does appear to me though, that any criticism made of Pete is small potatoes compared to the often heated arguments that rage (involving many strands of criticism) about other hms...
Pete clearly has a long way to go if he is to become as nasty, manipulative, boring, fake, et al as his hm peers are alleged to be..

Pete seemed very proud of his mum! Good for him!
PETE! PETE! PETE TO WIN!!

Yeah, ironically (despite being the 'favourite') the forum isn't 'buzzing' with Pete comment (I'm getting a bit embarrased continually pointing out why this is so so many times - too likeable, criticism just too obviously 'straw grasping' etc.). It seems you have to be more 'controversial' to get a real 'cultish' bandwagon rolling - a group of FMs to stand in relation against .

It seems that Pete likers are a sort of 'silent majority' - it's nice to finally have a forum which gives people the opportunity to 'voice' - obvious, 'we all knew it was there all along' - well wishes .

Anyway back to the lovely Pete. If he wins BB7 I will be happy for him, not for me and any money I will have spent voting although it all helps. I just think sometimes he is lacking in such confidence in himself it would give his confidence a massive boost. At the moment I don't think he wants to let himself believe or even knows how popular he really is. Once out of that false enviroment he will be ok, and it is a TV show so it will be false when compared to life outside that house.

It would be great for him to win I'd love to see his face if Davina called his name as the winner...he'd never beleive it

He does lack confidence its plain to see..he did say (to Imogen I think) that one thing BB has taught him is that he loses his confidence when he doest have his usual people around him..and that being in the BB house took him back to when he was being bullied in school

Even if Pete doesn't win..I'm sure he'll get a huge, huge cheer..and that will give him a boost as well.

Either way..I am sure he will be loved

So close to the final - let's hope Pete gets crowned the winner! I think Glyn is his main competition.

I think it is between Nikki and Glyn tbh. Though neither of them are doing themselves any favours. Glyn is sticking up for the nastiest girl in BB7, and Nikki is slagging off Aisleyne for no reason, who also happens to have a big fanbase.

At this point it looks like his biggest competition will be Aisleyne, she'll get sympathy from the public what with the plastics constantly having sly digs at her.

Im really looking forward to midnight, if Grace does in fact have a go at Aisleyne, then if Pete steps in and speaks his mind, he could boost his popularity, however if he remains silent then Aisleyne will no doubt be a strong contender for him.

I think Pete has a lot more support than we may realise.

Like most who like to use bullying tactics, Grace is a coward, she won't have a go unless she has a little army to back her up. What will be interesting to see is if something does kick off and Imogen is there, who's side she will take.

Pete would step between them in his quiet yet forceful nonetheless manner

I'm sure he would, however i do want to see Pete have a proper outrage, not only would it shut those people who claim Pete "is sitting on the fence" he would look damn hot, theres something sexy about a shy, gorgeous guy who can lose himself in an argument

Wishful thinking i suppose

I am no Aisleyne fan at all. But it could repair a bit of their damaged house relationship if Pete did take a stand and tell Grace to back off, it doesn't have to be too forceful in manner and it would be so worth it to see the faces of the housemates. I reckon it would be. Grace ---> Aisleyne ---> Glyn ---> ( in a I wish I had done that to get some more public support now way ) ---> Mikey --->

I can't see Pete losing himself in an argument somehow..although you never know...he doesnt like Grace very much..so he might

I think he is more likely to stand in the middle as Susann says...he has said before that he does that because he finds it harder to get out what he wants to say when he is angry.

Playing some music tonight and this track came up - seems it was written for Pete (ok, so I'm a soppy romantic ). Thought you guys might appreciate it most

Madness - It Could be Love
(lyrics here: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/m/madness..._20086814.html)

Wish I could give a link to the track for those too young to remember it (or the even the original Labi Siffre version)! A compilation video to it, a-la the Sexy Boy one, would make me smile ear-to-ear
