Precisely. Yesterday someone made an anti-pete topic criticising him for something he did, whereas a few minutes earlier that person *praised* another housemate for doing the same thing Pete did. I think it just goes to show the sheer desperation.

Though I think Pete will be alright. Glyn is there digging his grave by siding with Grace - who is the biggest bitch of this years BB and a contender for all time biggest bitch.

Nikki is also digging her own grave. I believe upon leaving the house, her fans will have praised her for all her "funny" tantrums and now that she is in the house she probably feels that she has to live up to her reputation, only this time she is over doing it.

One thing I descovered yesterday was how popular Pete is according to the BB Online poll. I dont know how accurate it is, but after over 10,000 votes, out of Pete, Glyn and Nikki, Pete is leading with 52%

I don't think Nikki is as popular as many believe nor Glyn. The trouble with Glyn is though many may be loathe to admit it, he will have a fair amount of the Welsh vote behind him as well as the fans he will have accumulated elsewhere, and it might make that difference to give Pete a run for his money. I still have faith in Pete fans though As for Nikki I believe the bookies are estimating her return as wrongly percieved popularity and thus giving her a higher chance than I reckon she will have of winning. Bookies are doing the same with Glyn for the reasons I have given above I reckon. Bookies and punters have a lot more trouble sussing on a positive vote, they might get close but are not always spot on. If the highlights are played fair, I reckon Aisleyne could take the runners up place now.

HAve they not been watching and listening for the past three months - Pete has a wickedly offcentre SoH which is one of the main reaons I like the dude. The unbelivers have been sucked into the 'saint' and 'perfect' nyms and don't realise it is ironic...so funny.

Yeah you're spot on here rubberband!! That's exactly my primary reason for being attracted to him in the first place... as I've said before, was away for the first two weeks of this BB in USA so came home to the series up and running, with no pre-conceptions as I'd really read nothing except the profiles on the C4 site. So, Pete really stood out, for me, because of his humour!
And his family (as we know) call him Perfect Pete - using it ironically as well as lovingly!!

You are so right Rosemary Pete or anyone being into S&M never bothers me, It is their life and as long as they are harming no one in doing so, it is really no-ones business than their own. Better that than some pleasures some sick people will get involved in. At least how Pete conducts his life in those clubs would be with consent.

I never get why so many get so enraged what housemates did before entering the house, unless it is something really bad. It's their choice what they do not ours, so who are we to judge what they did beforehand.

As for the S&M, how many are going to admit they may not go to the clubs but what goes on behind closed doors may be a different story

Just dropping into my favourite thread to voice some of my thoughts over today.

I am honestly hoping Nikki, is not the one picked to come back into the main house, yes it would do Pete good to see her again, BUT its the final week therefore Nikki may split Pete's votes, which would result in him coming second or even third! Aisleyne could overtake him as her fans are VERY determined to have her in second place or as the winner.

Nikki coming back will also do Aisleyne a favour as she may start bitching about her to Pete and Dickie or even Glyn which would again result in the sympathy vote for Aisleyne.

If only all the ex-housemates could come back into the main house tonight for the live eviction, then Pete could see his dearest Nikki before she hopefully went, not happening i know. Well i guess i'll just have to resign myself to the fact taht Nikki is coming back and may cause Pete's popularity to decrease (unfortunately)

I don't want any of the four back. But reluctantly reckon Lea is the safest bet. Hopefully they will choose her. I think Pete has been mulling things over trying to get his head straight over it all and trying to put things into perspective, so still time for the vote to go a different way I suppose. If BB want Nikki back to help boost Glyn as their winner, then they will take away Glyn's right to vote to get the result they want.

Plus if you click on the name and see his other pics and comments, you can see he's definatly not 'Perfect Pete'.

Maybe we should start up an anti-Pete thread so they can keep their anti-Pete posts to one thread, save them cluttering up the forum It would be quite funny and throw some right off wondering what was going on If a huge Pete fan started such a thread Bet I could guess the who's the first three names would be to post on it also, with no help from any kind of future seeing device

Yes that is the unfortunate thing. I could easily name several people who would do anything to take a shot at Pete, but the bad thing is I probably couldn't for the life of me say which HM they would want to win.

A few weeks ago I made a thread asking everyone to imagine a scenario in which Pete was not a housemate and to give their reasons for who they want to win and why they think they deserve it. It made about 2 pages and hardly any of the usual anti-pete crowd posted in it. It just goes to show that for some people, its easier to criticise than it is to praise.

But yeah, an anti-pete thread made by a Pete fan would be hilarious, though full of sarcastic comments and those that dont like Pete would be unsure of what to do

I have a quick scan of post histories or so & so to win threads to get an idea of who some support. Three of the clutch of anti's for instance are huge Grace supporters. that one makes sense as Pete is not close in friendship to Grace. I am so tempted now to start that anti-Pete thread, just to keep the posts together

me too! Might start picking on some really obscure, petit, 'why bother', thing about Pete... like his hats or the length of his eyelashes - which I would passionately state is an obvious attempt to get older women to like him by fluttering them (!) and see how much support the fake anti-comments gain, because the anti-Pete mob will latch onto anything!!
