[quote=rosemary]Exactly Trinsk..

I see Pete fans all the time trying to fair and treat other HM's fans with respect and in return all we get is constant abuse and told our reasons for supporting him aren't valid as they MUST be based on his TS...

Well enough is enough....I like Pete and thats all there is to it

PETE TO WIN!!!![/
QUOTE]

Yu-huh! THE WORM HAS TURNED!! WE WERE QUIET FOR TOO LONG! And cuz I said it in bold and CAPITALS we really mean it.. PLUS we speak for the GBP!! So, for second place... argue amongst yourselves!!

He will win without doubt.

But how many of his 'hilarious' moments are soley because he has an incurable mental problem which he refuses to take medicines for?

He wouldn't even be on the show if he didnt have Tourettes, let alone being popular.

Sigh, heard it all before. He doesnt have a mental problem whatsoever, needs no medication & will do well in his life, whether he wins BB or not!

Of course its a mental problem. Lets not go all PC and instead use a bit of common sense.

Tourettes is a neurological disorder not a mental one

Have a look here and educate yourself

I havent read that but neurons are prevelent in the BRAIN and the nerves.

Therefore 'mental' which usually refers to brain is correct in this case.

I'd be very disappointed if Pete did'nt win

He's kind, gentle natured, and very brave

.... and would make the kind of winner the voting public could congratulate themselves on choosing

for a change

'Mental' means an illness concerned with the brain.. ie depression, bi-polar, etc.
tourettes is a condition because it is both neurological and physical (tics etc).. therefore it is not a mental problem - ie it cannot be 'cured' by therapy..you cannot resolve it with chat to a therapist or suchlike...it is out of the control of the person inflicted with the condition. It is not an illness because there is no 'cure' or therapy to resolve the condition.

So..working on that formula...I have a dog (Danny) as well as a cat (Rosie) ..so that must mean....

8/10 dog owners prefer Pete too

Although the figure could be higher as my mum also has a dog (Josh) and she likes Pete as well....
