I totally agree - i don't think many Pete fans could say they were sure he was going to win - We all Hoped but it seemed that lots of Ash fans were more certain than us LOL - Big Hugs Gambit, it's been somewhat emotional, but as soon as Davina anounced it - it was ALL worth it

I don't want to sound big headed and sorry if I do, but I hardly ever apart from a few moments thought Pete would not win. I never said Pete to Win for fear of jinxing him. I always thought his only competition would be Glyn with the Welsh vote not Aisleyne.

I wanted to go and conratulate most of the other fans of the other six, but the nasty threads put me off

So any other fans of other housemates in the final six who have not taken to downright nasty posts and off course all Pete fans, I would like to say a heartfelt congratulations to all for those amazing efforts and support unwavering of your chosen housemates, but a special Congrats to Pete

This is so weird too, cuz my friend, who I haven't spoken to for a while, was on a long car journey this evening and was missing most of BB, so she texted me to give her results... her perceptions as a non-forum peep was so different to my worries!
She wanted Pete to win and was sure he would. She thought Ais was more unpopular than proven. She was shocked Dickie was 4th.

I whooped ear piercingly and cheered for ages!! I phoned my daughter (who was at her boyfriends - he wanted Glyn) and whooped some more, she put me on speaker phone!!

I - like pete - have always found how hard it is to live in a world where alternative views are not understood, or just not liked - I knew that there were lots of people who liked him, but feared there were lots who just found him too weird
