Am I asking to much from Vodafone?

I've got a Samsung D500 with Vodafone and i'm on an 18 month contract. The contract expires on the 16th of November which means I can get an upgrade on the 16th of September.

However, my phones on its arse!

It keeps freezing, switching off and the screen keeps going blank. This has only started happening over the last few days so basically, i've been without a phone for the last few days.

I phoned Voda an asked them could I upgrade early and told them I would happily sign myself up to another 18 month contract but they told me I have to wait until September before I can do it, I told them i'm basically without a phone and if I can't upgrade now then i'm going to cancel my contract when it expires and move to another network and they didn't seem bothered!

Can Vodafone really afford to lose customers, especially a customer like me who was willing to commit to another 18 month contract

Am I asking too much to upgrade a month early?

cheers

Why not just get yourself a new contract and a new phone if you really need one now?

Or get yourself a cheappo phone to use on your current contract for the next month.

Your current contract doesn't expire until November and they have allowed you to upgrade 2 months prior to expiry of that contract - I doubt vodafone will allow you to upgrade any earlier.

go to a different phone co. Loyalty to companies doesn't make sense.
