Everyone seems to assume that either one of the popstars groups will be number one at xmas. Is this a forgone conclusion though?. There doesnt seem to be as much excitment about popstars this time. I notice that on DS the fame academy forum has about 5 times the number of posts as the popstars one.

would be funny if the FA single was number one at xmas

or better still 'the cheeky girls'.

I think it is more of a foregone conclusion than that, the boyband will win making the whole show a farce. With teenage girls being the biggest percentage of single buyers and looking at how well the likes of Blue and Westshite do plus the fact the final three in Pop Idol were all male I think the whole thing is a waste of time.
