Try to get it off now with the battery in.

You won't break it, its scary the first time but as said above if you cab get the battery cover off with the battery in you will have no problem.

Stick your fingernail under the cover and prise it upwards and it will lift off, there is a small strip of plastic stopping it falling off and you losing it. There is a fair bit of jiggling to be done to get it clear.

The memory card NOT SUPPLIED (come on Sony) goes in up-side-down, then just push the cover back on.

Seems daft this, no memory card with the K800i but with the phone one down from it (can't remember it's name) you get a free card, same type too.

Luckily they aren't too badly priced, do a google search and you should be able to get a 256 for around £20.

So far I've seen them up to a gig in size, but the onboard memory on the phone's been fine for me up to now.

The K750i uses a totally different memory card to the K800i and as far as I am aware the largest card for the K800i that's currently available is 1 gig.

I don't doubt larger ones will be available, but these are a new type of card and at present are limited in the sizes available.

Yep, 1Gb is the biggest available out now, Sony say the biggest will be a 32Gb eventually.

K750i = Memory stick (pro) Duo
K800i = Memory Stick Micro (M2)

32gig may be a bit too big for my phone, but that would suggest Sony intend to use them in other devices too.

32gig would also require a firmware update on the phone, but imagine how many photos or MP3s that would store
