My dad's just received a SE k800i on Vodafone and all of the Internet Settings are "Locked" and can't be modified or used! So when trying to connect to the internet it says "Connection Failure , please contact your operator". Well we have tried that but the "tech" department isn't open again till Monday . Can anyone here help???

Cheers, I've done that and it says the same thing - connection failure.

The thing is that the settings are already there but they can't be edited or even accessed. E.g. when you click "More" on the "Contract WAP" profile a menu comes up but Settings, Advanced and Delete Profile are all greyed out and not available!

Call you call 'bog standard' customer services to see if GPRS is actually enabled on your handset? Long shot perhaps, but worth a try.

It is enabled because the last phone which my dad used GPRS - and this is the same SIM card.
