need to send a video/dvd
Hi, I'm applying for something and need to send a short video/dvd with my application.
The thing is, I only have an old video camera. Its the sort where you take out the little tape and put it in a bigger, normal size tape to watch it. That is too expensive to send off. So how would I transfer that onto a normal vhs? Or do you have any other ideas? I dont think I know anyone with a dvd camcorder, and even so, I dont really want people to know I'm applying |

Do you have a digital camera?
If it's a half decent one, it should be able to capture video footage. If you don't, chances are know someone who does ...... |

You should be able to. You'll need to do a bit of mucking about if you want it to play on any old standalone DVD player but any video file it's capable of making should be playable without any major problems on any PC/Mac.
Best to check the format it records in. What make/model is the camera? |

On the ones I have used, this is usually marked AV or Line Input but it could be marked anything. Just keep pressing it until the output from your camcorder appears on the VCR and hit record! (after inserting a blank tape of course). I've probably thoroughly confused you but I hope that helped
