What are your Top 10 (doesn't have to be in order) of 2002 then, not many more will be coming out in December, so now is the time to vote:

Mine would be:

Red Hot Chili Peppers: By The Way
Oasis - Heathen Chemistry
Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head
The Streets - Original Pirate Material
Tenacious D - Tenacious D
Doves - The Last Broadcast
Various - 1 Love
Sugababes - Angels With Dirty Faces
David Gray - A New Day At Midnight
Ms Dynamite - A Little Deeper / or The Aqualung Album (on a par)
Id only rate five albums this year personally

Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head
Feeder - Comfort In Sound
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way
JJ72 - I To Sky
U2 - Best Of 1990-2000

Ive heard lots of good things about The Doves but from what Ive heard personally I havent felt the urgent need to go out and buy any of their albums..

That list is pretty much spot on. Although replace The Streets and Tenacious D wtih 'Wonderland' by The Charlatans and The Eminem Show.

Firstly I don't think that compilations should be included when compiling a list of top 5 or 10 or whatever albums.

My top albums of the year- in no particular order apart from as they come to me!

On 2nd thoughts the undoubted number 1 album of the year was

Gutterflower - The Goo Goo Dolls

Others......

One By One - Foo Fighters
Love, Hate, Tragedy - Papa Roach
The Young and the Hopeless - Good Charlotte
Geoff Tate (solo album by Queensryche vocalist)
Silver Side Up - Nickelback (can't remember if this was this year!)

As long as RHCP and Pink are in there the other 8 can just fight it out amongst themselves.

Unless I am allowed to include a Best Of as well, in which case Ash have to be in there too.

He really likes punk plus a bit of metal so I wouldn't worry to much I have no idea who homer 911 is talking about so I'm going to assume it is garage, dance, hip hop that I know nothing about .

Albums of the year

Hundred Reasons - Ideas Above Our Station
Feeder - Comfort in Sound
Coldplay - A Rush of blood to the head
Red Hot Chili Peppers - By the Way
the Doves - the Last Broadcast

Albums that I should have brought but haven't

Tenacious D - Tenacious D
Audioslave - Audioslave
JJ72 - I To Sky

Disappointing Albums

Foo Fighters - One by One
idlewild - the remote place
