My swipe card for Vodafone is out of date and I couldnt top my phone up,so I picked up a new swipe card thinking it was a new one and guess what, its got the same month and year as my invalid card.So are these cards still valid even though the date says they are not.

A while back I received a text from Vodafone saying that the e top up cards with a June expiry date were still valid after this date.

Hope this helps.

If the e-top up machine in the shops are saying they are out of date, tell them to contact the vendor they rent the system from as they need to update the software inside!

as IrishRob said the top-up cards have not expired, I had this issue also with Asda and Orange eTop-Up Cards. The date on new Orange Cards is 12/99 and some machines think this is 1999! Doh!

Hi All,

I work for Vodafone and I can shed some light on this.

If your E-Top up card has an expiry date of 07/06 and was registered before this date, you'll still be able to use it.

You can now get the new top up cards from your local Vodafone Retail Store or most Supermarkets and Newsagents

I hope this helps.
