It's Chico time!

Mrs Retro ron here.

Has anybody heard the latest from this excuse of a singer?? He has murdered Ottowan's classic D.I.S.C.O. and called it C.H.I.C.O. What a load of s***e. Will anybody buy it. He stated on GMTV that if this song doesn't do any good he will give up music, so I beg all of you PLEASE DO NOT BUY.

On the subject of X-Factor, it's back on Saturday. Wonder what kind of dross it will be this year.

It's not called CHICO, it's called DISCO.

And he's hardly murdered it!

The B side is actually really good, I believe it's a new song he co-wrote.

It's a really terrible song and I don't think it will do well. He is finished in terms of music. The video reeks of desperation, especially those "creepy" moves he does with his arms as if to shock the viewer...

It could be fun to dance to while absolutely bladdered but I doubt anywhere will even play it!

Chico needs to try something new.

Well it's a harmless cover really. I did hope that after Chico time he might come out with another new song, rather than a cover that is covered in cheese. But alas, he did not. I haven't heard the B-side, was about to buy it from Woolworth's when I noticed the price, £3.99. That did put me off.

3.99? big flop then, maybe mums would have bought it for their kids if it had been 99p, but it'll be selling for that price next week probably.

Now I'm not exactly a fan of cr*p like this, but Chico came across very well on The X Factor One Year On. Simon said he was a total gentleman. I just take Chico as I find him, a kid's entertainer.

It's actually quarter past Chico time.

I gather it did not do that well so your wish will hopefully come true. I agree with everything you say but one thing.......please don't post anything about Chico in a Music forum in future its a total contradiction. He he!

I was wondering how long before someone did a time related play on words!

It spent 1 week at number 24 and then sank out of the Top 40 entirely. It's Chico Time spent 2 weeks at number 1 and 8 weeks in the Top 40 so this song has done comparatively badly. He definitely won't be getting an album deal and may be lucky to get a Christmas single from his record label.
