I think it's her boyfriend too - he's jealous of other men who fancy her and is worried she will prefer one of them to him. He wants her to stop working in the pub. But wil she believe it when she finds out ...?

i heard she kills her stalker they also say the stalker could even be female so who knows?

Louise's stalker will turn out to be Ashley!
The rev has been acting oddly of late and after his outburst to zoe about spoilt self indulgent women,it has to be him,also he could be missing bernice and has been secretly resenting louise who bought her share of the pub,or maybe he wants ray mullen all to himself so he can build a better church with all his money!

Well I KNOW it isn't Ray. How? Go to Soaps>Emmerdale>27 December titled News spreads round the village.

It states that Ray's reaction to the stalker leaves her feeling alone. So how can Ray have a reaction if he is dead, cos Louise DOES kill her stalker.

I (well the wife actually) think it is Laurel Potts, the dopey cleaner!
The reasons?
1)She has been acting strangely ever since she arrived, like looking thru the mail at the vets.Remember she got caught by Nicola.
2)She has been pestering Louise for advice about getting a boyfriend.
3)She was disappointed when her face wasnt on any of the beermats at the Woolpack.
4)Louise's keys went missing at the Woolpack and she works there.
5)She seems jealous of Louise's looks.

is it me or is the stalker terry,I was reading the emmerdale section in soaps and clicked on the 25th I think it says something about louise taking a lift off someone and it seems as if it is terry.

I think the stalker is Rodney... My reasons are:

1) the girl he took with him to the tate's party said she met him as a salesgirl when he was buying sexy underwear
2) Louise had just received sexy underwear
3) the underwear was the right size - which Rodney would know as they were together
4) when she gets in the car with her stalker it is someone she believes t be a friend - Rodney
5)all of the others - Terry, Mack etc are far too obvious

It also says she wants to know why "THEY" have ben stalking her. Possibly just a typo but could mean more than one....

Must admit I thought it was Ray as well, but that looks impossible now.

Reasons it could be Ashley.

1) Its got to be someone who she is happy to accept a lift from, rules out Terry, Mack etc.

2) Ashley is a vicar and can always be out and about wihout causing suspision

3)Recently said he gets very angry over any form of Rejection.

Gut feeling however is that it will turn out to be a women. Noticed all references do not give any clue at all to sex of stalker and surely Louise would accept a lift from a lady more willingly than from a man?

Ray's reaction to the stalker is referring to him being put into jail overnight for assaulting Mack - therefore leaving Louise alone in the house.

Louise doesn't come face to face with her stalker until Christmas eve. She accepts a lift from someone she knows - with deadly consequences.

I read in a paper acouple of weeks ago that its that weird new women who played that bee when she came onto the program, I don't know her name though.

I have no reason why, just something I noticed while flicking through the paper.

We know it's not Ray as he appears in episodes after the 25th.

Louise would definatley not accept a lift off Mac.
Due to recent / upcoming confrontations with Mac, Louise might feel guilty of accusing Terry and accept a lift. (I remember hearing a rumour a while back that Terry was leaving)

In upcoming episodes it seems that Diane and Nicola are carrying on as normal, which would be different if it was Rodney.

So in my opinion it seems likley to be either Ashley or Terry.

Ray has been annoying Mack lately by under-cutting him on a job and employing Sid. Mack has also told Sid in Viv's cafe that he is going to get his own back on Ray.
Also, watching the omnibus from Monday Mack arrived at the pub just as Louise recieved some flowers, and was in the background when she was talking to Trisha and Diane about it. He also turned up mysteriously last week at their house for some reason didn't he - he has got a key to their house.
Could it be why Ray is arrested for asaulting Mack after he finds out it is him?
Mack is expenible now that Angie has kicked the bucket, and Louise will probably accept a lift from him without knowing he is her stalker, but the viewers will by that point.

Bob taught Emily to drive. Don't know whose car he used but he can drive. Still think it will turn out to be a woman though. Noone's else has come back on the fact hte the trailer says "they". Could it be a duo?

The reason that I believe it cannot be ray is the same reason Mikk_NTL posted previously. Louise KILLS the stalker and Ray is definatley appearing in later episodes.

Other points...
Bob also appeares in later episodes, so that is why I never mentioned him.

Yes, I'm beginning to think it's Mack as well (you DO mean the builder?). He was a really nice guy when he first came into it and was going out with Diane - all of a sudden he's turned into somebody bitter and slightly sleazy. He looks a bit menacing to me. I think they've given him a personality transplant so that he will turn out to be a bad 'un. They have to write him out somehow - his character is going nowhere. Do we know when we'll find out?

As mentioned above she kills the stalker. Characters that are mentioned in eposides after this, and therefore can not be the stalker are:

There are others that can be ruled out as stories have them leaving before this all happens, such as Latisha, Danny and Cynthia.

So with all of them ruled out, there's not all that many characters left to choose from...
