the spoilers must have made a mistake then, or Charity is finally exposed as a MAN, as the spoilers say that in Jan 6 episode Louise is asked to talk to Police at Mill Cottage and Louise sees His haunting features. so pointing to it being male.

Hey all, I'm new by the way.

Maybe the powers that be at Emmerdale have deliberately included all the suspects in spoilers after the boxing day episode in an attempt to put us all of the scent so to speak!

I don't know if anybody reads Inside Soap magazine but theres a picture of the party on boxing day (?) at home farm that Louise apparently goes to after killing her stalker in an attempt to hide it - and Laurel is on the picture - which suggests the stalker ISN'T her. However, the picture looks unrealistic, as though it is fake and Laurel has been put on it to make it look as though she is at the party but she isn't really (I could be reading too much into this), so maybe Emmerdale are doing things like this to stop us from guessing. However, the fact that Louise apparently accepts a lift of her stalker possibly eliminates Laurel, as she has never been shown driving, nor has she spoken about driving. Anything is possible in soap land though! And also, if Louise actually kills her stalker, it suggests she is doing it in self-defence - so I would guess that would mean it is a man. Even if Laurel did get violent, I just cannot imagine Louise lashing out at her. If it was a man though, Louise would probably do whatever she had to in order to protect herself. So I'm guessing its not Laurel.

On This Morning a couple of weeks ago, Jacci Stephens was talking about this storyline & she said that she knew who the stalker was & that it was obvious. So who do we think are the obvious candidates? I think Ray, Terry and Mack are the only ones obvious really so maybe its one of them 3. I will go for Ray as at the same time it will be shocking, like Emily Symons said it would be. I think hes doing it to scare her out of the country. And as for the spoiler that says something along the lines of 'Unable to turn to Ray for help as she is confronted by her stalker, Louise takes drastic action', this does not mean it isn't Ray. Louise is hardly going to be able to turn to him if it is in fact he who is the stalker! I also think that maybe the producers are including Ray in spoilers after christmas to make us think it isn't him. Remember, nobody was expecting Paddy and Emily to get married, so this might turn out to be the same kind of thing!

Was he the 'body-in-the-boot'? Or is he still at large and on bad terms with Ray?

On the same lines, Chloe doesn't hold grudges against Ray, does she?

Didn't Louise recently have a Death Notice in the local paper?

I thought that newspapers only accept these when accompanied by a death certificate or come from a certain sourse. i.e. Church, Undertakers, Hospitals etc.

Out of all the suspects, it seems to me that only Ashley could have done this.

is Ashley mentoined in the Spoilers as I think it could be him too. The made a thing of him giving away his child Gabby? to Berniece so that we know he won't have her over Christmas, which would make the perfect excuse to write him out as they wouldn't need Berniece to return and collect the child- she already has her. Plus she'd feel safe with the Vicar in a car as you wouldn't expect a Vicar to be a stalker.

i think its ashley aswell....what with gabby being with bernice.....the scenes where ray had his heart to hearts with ashley ect.........and the fact that he isnt mentioned in the spoilers...neither is anything to do with the church...what with louise taking bernices place in the pub ect , it could be him!

Thanks to everyone who has given their views and to the original poster "BBbabe" for starting this thread.

We will find out tommorow who the real stalker is, but untill todaywe have only had speculation..

I still think it is Ashley, but a few of you out there may prove me wrong.
