Ipod problem after computer stolen
Posy

My computer was stolen. It had all my music on it, from cds and downloads in itunes. I'm worried that if I connect my ipod to itunes I'll lose all the songs on my ipod. I can recharge my ipod independently of my computer but if I want new content I need itunes. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. Thanks

Turn off the sync in iTunes.

And you don't need iTunes to load stuff onto your player. There are plenty of alternatives out there - e.g. anapod explorer.

There are quite a few free programs to transfer the music from your iPod to your computer. Once you've done that you'll be able to import it into iTunes and keep your iMusic and maintain an iLife
