Have you seen how much Magnus Scheving (sp?), does on this show.. He's like the sometimes director, creator, producer, star and some other things too on different episodes..

We have the first series on the Sky HD box in the lounge and the Sky + box in the conservatory. Plus we have to watch it when it's on anyway..!!

He's also loving The Backyardigans which I do enjoy too... I'm now called Tyron and my son is Pablo. The wife is Uniqua..!!

Very addictive stuff.

As mentioned before I couldn't believe that Robbie Rotten looks so normal in real life, Stefan something I think...”

I was never very keen on Sportacus when watching with various grandkids, but they all liked it. Now Backyardigans was different and Wonder Pets come to that, I know the songs off by heart..

What do you think of this new series?

I'd rather see it on Cbeebies than Cartoonito as it's much more accessible - but I think there's a few months until that happens.

It looks foreign, anyone know what country it comes from.”

No I hate it. I think its sets a bad image on children to show off like that saying na na na na na I can do press ups with one hand. There aint any need to show off.

Well, they showed the first episode of the new series in the US yesterday - I watched a bit of the new song on YouTube and I like it but not sure yet about the new Stephanie. When are they airing it in the UK? They should plug it on Cbeebies at some point.

Just to put a spoiler on it, I watched this when my lad was 3 or 4, about 4 years ago. I remember seeing the episode where Sporticus was reverted back to a kid by RR.
Casting should be shot as Sporticus as baby blue eyes but kid cast to be him had dark brown eyes lol!

How many times does Sportacus have to bully Robbie!

That mine mine mine song does my head in. Typical american show not teaching kids to share.

Surely it's the other way round? I think the 'no one's lazy in lazytown' song is probably the best. Though, does Magnus (Sportacus) actually sing in that song? He seems to have an American accent while singing and a 'fluent English' accent while talking.

Just caught a bit of the new LazyTown - even though Cartoonito is it's main channel now they need to branch it out more and show it on CBeebies for example.

Yes, the songs are cheesy but what's your favorite?

9am on Saturdays on Cartoonito. They seem to show priority towards the UK as they are airing new episodes here first.

Well the kids always tend to make fun of him.

My Triplets, who are 3, love it and so does their little sister who is nearly 2. They sing the songs too.

It was - now they've moved it to Cartoonito.

I've never really understood why they have to dub the puppets voices (the kid puppets) to British accents whenever they air it here. Do they think kids won't understand American accents?

For instance, they always seem to change 'candy' to 'sweets' here.

That goes for lots of singers. Robbie Williams admits singing in an American accent.

This show got me up when I was in London every morning.

There are so many reasons to love it (but one big one)...

I thought I'd bring this up again because LazyTown has become a bit of a meme recently. Thanks to the We Are Number One song from the most recent series.

Anyone else know about this?

What is the actual meme? I saw people excited in the comments of videos on the official Youtube account that Lazytown was embracing the meme but I didn't understand what it was.

Is it just the We are number one song is catchy

That song became popular on YouTube, people creating their own remixes etc. The LazyTown YouTube channel are doing the same by jumping in the bandwagon - "We Are Number One but it's one hour long".

It's seen a rise in popularity as Stefan Karl (the actor who plays Robbie Rotten) is currently battling cancer.
