I've just read on teletext that some actor (I've never heard of) threw a puch at Brendan on Love island and Brendan retaliated with six 'punches' that left the actor with a bleeding ear.
My husband, who is the quietest and gentlest of men was reading over my shoulder, snorted and said " Couldn't have been much of a scrap, more like handbags at 30 paces. When I was in the Navy you didn't get up after one punch let alone six"

I've not really been following Love Island , but according to Haren Hardy at my dance class last night, If Brendan is losing his temper with someone he must have really been pushed as Brendan is so laid back and does not get really angry easily at all

It was between him and Lee Otway. Lee has upset a lot of people on the island but has been able to get past it with them (well at least for the sake of the cameras)
There's no love lost between the pair. They've already had a few arguments and TBH it's getting boring.
Brendan had vented most of his anger by bitching about him to camera, in the beach hut but recently he hasn't been able to hold it in.

IMO if Brendan's main concern is cleaning up his public image he's gone about it the wrong way. He's just given the tabloids more stories to spin, should they wish to do so.

I don't watch Love island... so I didn't see it but I wonder if it's a clash of egos?

If you'd been watching LI, then you'd know it isn't that. Brendan just did, what we'd all like to do, if we only had the opportunity. Lee's just a pain in the ar*e. Only thing wrong with what Brendan did, he didn't hit him hard enough.

If that is so then why has he made his last two partners on SCD cry. He appears to get frustrated very quickly when people are not learning as quickly as he would like, or putting in enough effort. Just an observation.

Yeah and he's been winding Brendan up since Brendan tried to get him to tidy up after himself in week 2 or something. Anyway we still have no clue what REALLY happened, I think its being in the small space having to clean up after a 24 year old who acts like a 2 year old girl and wants more respect then the Zelebs give Brendan.

Brendan has said on several occations that he went on Love Island to better himself - and control his firey side a bit better. To my mind, he's done a great job. And he was very frustrated with himself in the Beach Hut for resorting to fisticuffs.

I think B's doing a great job on the Island. And that is evident by all the categories that the girls voted him best for.

He's certainly earned himself a lot of brownie points in my eyes on LI.

I detested him in every series of SCD (Kaplinsky didn't help, loathe the woman) but I've warmed to him. He comes across really well.

And I totally agree. He should have hit the obnoxious little brat much harder.
