I have just won a JVC XV-M557GD DVD player but the digital output on the back is optical and my Philips 9615 TV has only a coaxial input for Dolby Digital.
Is there any way of converting this either through a box or modifications of the DVD? I have seen on JVC's web site that the cheaper machine have both connections, so is the circuitry already inside? |

Lektropacks (020 8560 8050) do a Optical <-> Coax Convert box that should do the job bout 60quid if remember, called Co2 or sommin. It doesn't seem to be on there web site, but it's in the latest Home Cinema Mag
