Hi Guys!

I'm having a party soon and we all love to dance to songs that are a few pop songs mixed up together or great dance/club songs.

I just wanted to know if you guys knew of any good ones and maybe some websites to download them off of.

If you could help me, it would be a great for something new to dance to!

Thanks very much!

I got a load of mashups from a mate recently. Here are 10 that I thought were quite clever which you might like:

Britney Spears vs. Muse - 'Britney's Massive Hole'

Christina Aguilera vs. Dead Or Alive - 'Dead Or Aguilera'

Madonna vs. The Lovemakers - 'Dance Music'

The Bravery vs. M.I.A. - 'An Honest M.I.A.'

Supremes vs. Salt-N-Pepa - 'Stop It!'

Temptations vs. Technotronic + others - 'I Can't Get Pumped Up'

Madonna vs. Moby - 'Go Frozen'

The Cure vs. Cassie - 'Close to Cassie's Cure'

Guns N' Roses vs. Foo Fighters - 'Sweet Times Of Mine'

Oasis vs. Green Day vs. Travis vs. Eminem - 'Bouelvard Of Broken Songs'

ps. You can listen to them above (streamed). Send me a message if you want to download any of them.

Here's a remix of the new Scissor Sisters song which almost makes it bearable for me to listen to

Scissor Sisters - 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing (Linus Loves Vox)'

Here is a good remix of a Bloc Party song:

Bloc Party - 'Banquet (Phones Disco Edit)'

I sent you a message .

If anyone likes rock mashups, there is a band called Smash-Up Derby who are apparently 'the world's only mashup rock band'. I was actually really impressed and they have impeccable taste (e.g. Smells Like Teen Spirit vs. Billie Jean....genius!).

You can download some of their songs for free on their web site - smashupderby.com

Thanks guys! That's a great help. I signed up to Gybo - it takes ages to find good stuff on there! I'll keep digging though!

The whole American Idiot albume was mashed and called American Edit..it's out there if you look. It was done buy an outfit called Team9..then the label sent a cease and desist order even tho the album got massive critical aclaim..there was a 'free dean grey' teusday in the states. A load of kids went and protested outside Green Days label..cool!
Therefore try Team9.net..they rock.

apparently the free software programme Audacity is quite good for making your own mash-up, remixes and the like. It's completely free and I use it to record sounds/music from the internet and films for different projects!

I think it's audacity.com, but your best bet would be to google it!

One of the best I heard was:

The Beatles Vs Radiohead called "Karma in the Life" - which obviously mixed the Beatles classic Day in the Life to Radioheads guitar from Karma Police - worked pretty well, but then its not like its mixing the antiques roadshow theme with the Prodigy's Firestarter!

I heard a great one last year. It was a mashup of "Who do you think you are" by the Spice Girls and "Yeah" by Usher. Works really well and is great on the dancefloor. I actually got it off somebody on here so if you search the music forum hard enough you could probably find it. Otherwise I'm clueless.

Also, delgado, could you please send me Boulevard of Broken Songs? I HAVE to have it!!
