It doesn't matter - because they have given us the best of what they could do.

Fix You, Trouble, Warning Sign...

Isn't it just "time out"; Chris wants to concentrate on his family?

I don't get the big deal with Coldplay, but I agree that Trouble, Fix You and Yellow are great songs. I can also play touble on the Piano

They are not splitting up, there was some talk at the brits when Chris said "wont be seeing us " but a few days later denied that they were splitting

Good, i'm determined to see him, i missed out on 2 other people i would like to have seen, (Frank Sinatra and Genesis), I'm determined not to miss out on seeing Coldplay, from the sounds of what people are saying it could well be their last concert/tour then , i hope not, they've not been around for that long (i know its been a few years but its not that long compared to other genuinely talented bands)

If you want hours of Coldplay - Trouble, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Mel C - Northern Star and Chopsticks, then sure

Then they headlined the Isle of Wight festival this year, which was after they "announced" their "split". Which was (as always) taken completely out of context by all newspapers and this site.

Presumably they've finished with this album and they'll probably be having a year off and then getting on with the next one.

I heard they were to split months ago..... Seen it posted on a few forums too.

Whether it is permanent is anyones guess but apparently it is, so they say, so that Chris can spend more time with Gwyneth.

80's Chick - See here for the news you were after. They've been on tour for over a year now, in fact the Twisted Logic tour has just finished. Poor timing there

Coldplay have NOT split up, Chris simply said at The Brits that we won't be seeing them around for a while, which is fair enough really. They're just having some well earnt time off post-tour, after which they will start on material for the fourth album.

Fix You is one of the most morbid and depressing tracks i have ever heard!

Ideal track to top yourself and/or slash the wrists to.!

Whats the fascination with this track? it's as morbid as you could get!

I've still not really gotten the Coldplay bug. Sure, Rush Of Blood was a great album but are they really that great? I couldn't stand Trouble, Shiver was about the only track from Parachutes that I really liked. Oh, and Yellow for it's shear anthemness.

The last album has completely passed me by. Heard it, heard it again and again, still think it's weak.

Yeah, the last album wasn't very good imo. I think Chris Martin is a good songwriter and the band are very talented so hopefully they will have a break and come back with something good. I've always wanted them to 'rock out' more and build on what they started with 'Shiver' but it hasn't happened.....yet.
