So Apple buggered my iPod up

I got my 6GB iPod mini for my birthday last year (though i got it towads the end of auguest rather than on my b-day, 18th). I sent it back for repairs about 1/2 weeks ago and got it back last week as the issue was with the battery which was just completely screwed. I turn it on and the battery seems hunky dorey. No problem.

Yet now ive started to listen to it properly instead of just turning it on ive realised that although the battery is fixed the iPod is screwed in all sorts of ways. For instance some songs just won't play whatsoever. Others will instead of playing, skip forward 3-(insert random number here) songs forward and play another instead. The majority of others will instead of playing, send me back to the iPod menu.

Some will play fine, but the majority wont.

My prob is that as Apple are responsible for it can i get it fixed again, even if the warranty expired during the few days after they sent it back?/during the fixing period/a few days from now (which i havent cheked but i think is likely.)

I believe when Apple 'fix' your iPod and send it back, you get a 90 day warranty. So you should just send it in for repairs just like before.

This happened to me before with my iPod Nano, the songs would skip after playing the first 3 secs of a song..

I deleted all the songs off my iTunes list, put them back on again.. then updated my iPod - if that makes sense lol

Yes it took ages but it fixed my problem! But there might be an easier way...
