I'm just enquiring as to the functionality of the Topfield receivers, in particular the TF 5000 PVR Masterpiece on Topfield's German homepage.

Basically I want to know this.....

If I've got two LNBs (both twin) and if I have two DiSEqC switches (I.E. four cables into two - which plug into the receiver) does it mean that I'd be able to watch/record whatever I want when I want?

I.E. I don't want to be limited to watching a channel on one LNB because the receiver is recording from the other one.

I suppose the question could be "Does each tuner operate DiSEqC independently?"

AFAIK, Yes. But go and ask in the satellite section. Those guys know loads about sat.
