Wow - it was sooooo good

I was really nervous as I'd never taken my dancing outside my usual one to one lesson with my regular teacher and I really didn't know what to expect or how much I knew!
But Brendan is a lovely guy. We did lots of work on posture, making movement and using the energy of movement to create the next move and how to relate to your partner. We put that into practice on some basic cha cha and rumba.
There were only about 16 of us which was nice, and I think most were followers rather than leaders but it really didn't matter.
He was happy to sign the SCD book and have photos taken afterwards which was great.
I learnt loads. He was excellent at explaining and so full of energy for dance, and us enjoying it.
He talked a little about Love Island - more about how it felt being back in the real world now and catching up with himself, and the fact it rained a lot but he had enjoyed it! He said he was still a bit jet lagged.
I have to say he had a nice tan
It was a great day - I'm sorry you missed it Dancing Pixie

but hope you are feeling better.
Has anyone had any lessons with him privately? I would love to do that as I learnt so much and really feel that what I learnt will be useful in my regular lessons.
I think he said that they are getting their strictly partners this week...not entirely sure, but there probably will be some news about who's with who soon
