Problem syncing to a device in Media Player
Plancky
31-08-2006
I am trying to sync some music files to my MP3 player but a error message keeps appearing reading 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the problem persists, the server might not be available'. I have tryed looking on the Microsoft website but i can not find any thing on there to help me. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you moved, renamed or deleted any of the files or the folders they're in that you're trying to sync?

No i have not done anything to the files. They have not been touched.

Try adding the files to your library again.

I have just tried a few of the tracks and it is the same as before.

Odd. Try removing the tracks from the library then adding them again. Depending on the device you could always sync them manually through My Computer.

Are these your own tracks or downloaded from the Internet?
