Passcode...
Hello,
I am getting a little anonyed at having to type in the four digit numerical code everytime I switch on the homechoice box and was wondering if anyone knew if this could be disabled or set permanently. I know it wouldn't ask if I kept the set top box on, but I usually perefer to switch it off every night. Thanks in advance, B8. |

Just press ok to skip it (on my pronto remote I have the "on" for the STB as a macro which turns it on then presses ok automagically).
Then it'll only ask you when you want to buy something or watch age-restricted content. |

I've extended my pronto macro to enter the passcode for my "on".
Better than that, I've added timers so that it "presses" a HomeChoice button (the diamond) every 4 hours so that the STB doesn't switch off all the time. It needs rebooting every now and then for some reason or other but apart from that it stays on so at least I can record programmes more than a day in advance. iSix - I never found discreet On & Off codes for the STB - HC told me they didn't exist. Do you know any different? |

I thought about having it enter the PIN automatically, but knowing my luck my missus would end up renting loads of movies without knowing
