Headphones for MP3 player

I have problem using in-ear phones as they hurt my ear after less than an hours wearing.
Can someone recommend a decent pair of headphones, the only stipulation is it MUST have a gold 3.5mm jack. If it doesn't have that it's no good, as gold gives a far better connection. price range up to about £25.

Sennheiser PX 100 or PX 200. Awesome quality!

They have the silver plug, but you wouldn't know it to listen to them!

i can recommend the PX200s as well - excellent headphones.

i've just replaced them with some shure ec3 in ear ones (cat chewed the sennheisers) - bit of an extravegence, but so far they've been outstanding, and far better than any other in ear phones i've tried before.

Hi there,

I'd recomend the Sennheiser headphones as well, but I would advise spending a little bit extra on the headphones, as it can make a world of diffrence to the quality.

I tried the Sennheiser HD 25's and they were amazing sound quality (now have the Sure ear bud headphones as the Sennheisers were a little too big for the gym).

Even the Evolution range at less of a cost than the HD 25's sounded very good and even had more bass than the HD 25's (although they are bigger). I think I could have got the EH 250's for £35'ish.

I don't realy think the gold one the plug would make very much diffrence (might notice a microscopic bit of diffrence on very high end systems). Although these headphones have it.
