Is there any way of getting a good discount on calling my sister's mobile in Canada? She doesnt have a landline.

www.Call18185.co.uk also charge 0.5p/min to Canada mobiles or Landlines as Canada uses the North American system of charging the mobile person you are calling to receive your call, unlike virtually most of the rest of the world where the person calling pays the extra cost of the mobile leg.
18185 does however have a connection charge of 4p, but unlike dial-through numbers (0844 etc) you aren't charged to find out the number is busy, or for when it is ringing out unanswered, you are only charged when connected to either the person you are calling or the voicemail system as per normal calling. |

£1.50p top up. Free to call . 5p connection. But you pay to call the 020 access number, unless you have a free call package of course. Last edited by blazor : 04-09-2006 at 11:03. |

Martin' Lewis's MoneySavingExpert site has 2 good price checkers too (updated nightly IIRC).
UK calls. International calls. Both quote prices from a BT residential landline (most people are on BT Together Option 1). Last edited by Heinz : 04-09-2006 at 11:26. |
