Firstly, I have to apologise if I misunderstand anyone on this thread - I'm not hugely good at interpreting text speak.
However, my opinion on the Zune...
The GUI does indeed look very flashy. One wonders what effect that will have on bettery life, but I assume the designers thought of that.
However, I would express concern that the controls are pretty small and there is no obvious scroller - something which I think is a necessity for navigating a large collection.
Another concern is from MS making the software for it... I'm taking a guess that they will make it Windows-only? Locking out anyone who has chosen to use a different OS for whatever reason. They'd gain a lot of kudos with me if they simply let everyone use one.
Other than that... meh. I can't really get excited about it, but I've no urge to shott it down in flames, either.
