ITV need to keep their long running shows going, they're the only decent stuff they've really got. Also, it does better in the ratings than the Bill and Heartbeat so why would they axe it? In the Scarborough evening news they had pics of the filming and the producer denied the rumours, although I am worried!

I seriously love this show, and am so excited the second half of the series is now to air. It's odd, even though I was born in the 70's , it still manages to make be all nostalgic and wish for a happier, simpler time. Oh gawd, that sounds terribly old !
PS> Still can't forgive them for killing off Meryl though

Paul Fox will leave to go to Africa in the episodes we're about to see, but as I said in a different post, he was only taking a break and he filmed his Corrie scenes which we saw in about March, during this break, so as they're filming another series now, he'll probably be back for that. It certainly explains something that baffled me. I remember reading Jeff was going to Africa and I was waiting for it to happen in the last series we saw, so I now know why he didn't! |
