Hi,

When I have a recording setup on timer, and watching a diffrent live channel at the same time, I get a reservation dialog box pop up on screen asking me to except or not?

This happens when recording starts.I then ignore it by pressing exit on remote control and I cant watch the live channel no more.

Please advsie why this happens and what I should do?

What firmware are you running. I haven't seen thast message since the '88' firmware.

If you leave the message it will time out, and change channels, or you can confirm you want to change channels and allow the recording; not changing channels may cancel the recording.

It happens because of glitches in the way the Toppy allocates tuners, and happens less often in the most recent firmware, where it seems to happen more often if you're watching a channel on mux 1.

A couple of TAPs will bounce you back to where you were, if possible, when this happens.

It's in the bug database and a fix is being worked on, but it's apparently non-trivial to resolve completely.

However, is it ok to use the tap regarding this problem ?

I still use the mcgCYRResume (1.0) TAP which I think still helps to reduce occurances of the problem.
