Which phone to get: Sony Ericsson K800i or Nokia N73?
I don't know which to get out of these two phones. I'm getting it on pay monthly whichever I decide to get.
I like the design of both phones really but I do like Sony phones better. But I'd just like to know which one you would choose and why - but please don't say neither, I only want opinions on these two phones. Thank you

I have just swapped my K800 for the N73 for no other reason than I prefer using a Nokia. I was really happy with the K800 I just couldn't get used to the Sony layout and the Facewarp feature on the K800 will keep you amused for hours. If you prefer Sony I would recommend you go for the K800.

Personally I would go for the Nokia N73, but I've always preferred Nokias. I've been waiting for a good Nokia N73 deal for some time now, I believe it's currently on Three, o2, Vodafone and Orange, I usually go for T-Mobile but as it's not out yet I might get it on Three so I can use MSN messenger and Yahoo! Go. Does anyone know of any other shops that stock it on a pay monthly contract, other than the ones at Nokia-N73.co.uk, or when it will be released on T-mobile??

I have the Nokia N73 and I love it, my son has the Sony Ericsson and I find them difficult to use. I don't like the keypad and find it hard to text on them, but for me the pluspoint of the Sony Ericsson's are the camera, which takes great photos.
The Nokia N73 has 3G coverage and some great applications. Infact, it does everything bar your ironing! I've tried every type of phone going but always return to Nokia's! |

My vote is for the Sony...Can't fault it, superb build quality, ease of use yet still brimming with features.

For all the people who get the K800i after having a Nokia, I think it seems difficult to use for about a week but after that it gets really really easy. Its the same swapping back from SE to Nok.
I have a Nokia 6280 and can't wait to get rid, would never have a Nokia again. It is alright now after a firmware upgrade, but when I first got it, it was shocking. The chargers are terrible quality, i've had 4 and they all break where the cable goes into the plug (and i've never once wrapped the cable round the plug to break it). Also, the early firmware was shocking - phone would reset when profile changed - Nokia refused to accept it was a problem, but message boards like this were full of people who had the problem! My next phone will be the K800i. Only shame about it is that I won't be able to run Tom Tom 5 mobile on it but could on the N73. M |
