Robbie William's Milton Keyne concert
I have just read that seats can't be taken into the concert. Has anybody been before and confirm this. I'm disabled and can't stand for too long, also my friend is pregnant and can't stand for more then 5-10 mins at a time as she has a problem with her pelvis.
I have tried getting intouch with the bowl but they only have an email address. Does anybody have a number for them or any idea who to speak to? Thanks |

Hi
I went to the leeds concert on Saturday and people were not allowed to take their chairs in with them, there was a huge pile of them left at the entrance. I dont like standing for long either so had a bin bag to sit on! |

If you're disabled, you should be able to get access to the Disabled Viewing Area. Contact the ticket agent for details.

I got my tickets from lastminute.com
no help washed there hands, told me to speak to milton keynes bowl, the've said nothing to do with them. I'm getting really worried now. Nobody seems to want to help i keep getting fobbed off. It's not like i'm asking for preferentually treatment i just want to be comfortable and enjoy the concert, not much to ask. I have tried the bowl again and see what happens. Looking from the stage, a viewing platform for patrons in wheelchairs is located to the right and the best possible wheelchair access to it is via gates 2 situated between the West car park and the performance area. Access will be allowed only to vehicles that clearly display the orange or blue badge as issued by Social Services. I have a friend who is perfectly healthy, but she is now considering not attending the show at all. When she originally purchased her ticket back last December/January period, the show was at that time going to be at the new Wembley Stadium. She purchased a ticket for the seating area. She received her ticket yesterday to find that as the venue is now at the MK Bowl she has a general admission ticket. The coach taking her will be leaving at around 10am and arriving at MK Bowl for the gates opening at 2.30pm. She has been really looking forward to going but it is now spoilt for her, as a long day with no proper seating wasn't what she envisaged. It will mean losing her money, but when I was speaking to her today she said that it just didn't seem to be worth all the trouble. What I don't understand is the fact that on certain occasions they do put up seating for events, even if it's rare. Surely, if people have bought tickets on the understanding that they would be seated then it would seem only fair to lay this on. |

I'm not in a wheelchair, I do have a blue badge though. I might just have to wing it on Tuesday. I'll take some cushions and plastic sheeting, and camp up on the floor. God help anyone who treads on us.
With any luck people going on saturday can give us an idea of where to sit/stand and if anyone managed to get seats in. |

Apparently they do. My friend checked the site earlier on in the year and there was a mention on there somewhere that they are capable of providing seating. I think because she had purchased a seated ticket she presumed that they would be willing to accomodate for that eventuality, given that the new Wembley Stadium had been a non-starter. I must admit that I have only heard of standing only there myself. I can see her point though, to have paid for a seat and then to find that the day would consist of hours of standing or just sitting on grass, is not ideal. I'll be very surprised if she does go now, and I can't say that I blame her. The mere thought of Orson being one of the support acts instead of The Ordinary Boys as was first announced would put me off for a start! |

Head to the disabled area and you should get into there. And your pregnant friend can follow! |

I have been to MK before - they do not allow seats to be taken in without prior arrangments with the venue people. Go to mkweb.co.uk/bowl for further information. I hope you manage to sort something out. The last time I was there they laid out pathways which were kept clear of people by security. This did make it easier to get around. I notice that there are still no more toilets at the venue. That was a major problem last time.

However, when the venue was changed, an email was sent out that clearly stated that MK Bowl didn't have any seats, and so people would have GA tickets only. And there was an opportunity to get a refund of tickets on that basis. So really your friend should have considered this at that point, and not now and then she could have got a refund of her tickets. |

The organisers of the trip are at fault for not informing her, but they aren't going to worry are they? After all they have her money and no doubt couldn't care less. |

So yes this company are out of order if they didn't offer a refund when the venue was changed. I'd be tempted to write to them and ask for a refund, even if it is too late to cancel the tickets because they really should have given her the option ages ago!! |

I was also not told about the change of venue from my ticket vendors lastminute.com. I only knew it had change due to these boards and the fact that wembley had not been finished. Hence knew nothing about no seats.
It does seem very unorganised due to move. |

i saw Robbie at milton keynes a few years back and i cannot recall any seating-be prepared to stand and not be able to move-i manage a very cramped sit down but TBH it was very uncomfortable and easier to stand.
and from about 6pm onwards it get worse untill Rob comes on-then everybody who has managed to stay sat down gets up and there is more room to 'bounce'!! and be prepared for the sudden surge forward when he's coming on.

We had tickets for the Golden Circle which were great. Initially it seemed like a cattle market, but one of the security people advised walking around to the other side before going into the Golden Circle and we had loads of space around us and a good view to boot. We also had the luxury of turning up at a time to suit us, which meant that we were standing for a long time, but not as long as those who went in as soon as the gates opened. I have to say that I'm glad I'm not going to go to Milton Keynes. I was going to go with my friend, but I would have felt like she does at the moment, had I done so. |

I live within cycling distance from the bowl and have been there many times. There is no seating as such but it is not called the bowl for nothing! It can get squashed at the front, but you can sit on the grass around the sides, which isn't too uncomfortable with something to sit on. Have a lovely, lovely day - I hope the weather is JUST right
