Hi there. I just received this email:

"After selling out their Blackpool show in a matter of minutes, The Killers announce more UK dates for November. Available from 9am on Friday 15th September
MANCHESTER Apollo - Mon 20 November
HULL Arena - Tue 21 November
NEWCASTLE Carling Academy - Thu 23 November
NOTTINGHAM Rock City - Sat 25 November
LONDON Carling Academy Brixton - Mon 27 November
LONDON Carling Academy Brixton - Tue 28 November"

I really really want to get tickets to see them but after the speed at which their Blackpool show sold out, I'm worried I won't get any.

Is it likely that they will have pre-sale tickets on sale anywhere? And if so, where could I get them?

Cheers.

Just found out there is a presale tomorrow at 9am, you have to sign up to the mailing list at www.thekillers.co.uk and they send this out, however word on the forum is that even if you sign up today theres a slim chance in getting the email before the actual presale, leading in you having to just wait till the general sale date of Friday.
Best of luck guys!

btw: here are the latest dates
Sat-Nov-18: Wolverhampton, England @ Civic Hall
Mon-Nov-20: Manchester, England @ Manchester Apollo
Tue-Nov-21: Hull, England @ Hull Arena
Wed-Nov-22: Glasgow, Scotland @ Glasgow Academy
Thu-Nov-23: Newcastle, England @ Newcastle Academy
Sat-Nov-25: Nottingham, England @ Rock City
Sun-Nov-26: London, England @ Brixton Academy
Mon-Nov-27: London, England @ Brixton Academy
Tue-Nov-28: London, England @ Brixton Academy
Thu-Nov-30: Dublin, Ireland @ The Point

I'm gutted. I've been dying to see the Killers for ages - but the only Scottish gig is the same night as George Michael. Damn.

I know its totally disgusting, makes me sick actually. Its a shame that it cant be stopped, I mean the site I got my tix from say that they are not to be resold anf your order will be cancelled but how do they know what tickets and whose tickets are being sold on ebay to do this?

Ebay have to share the sellers info with the ticket sites. If they supply the name and address of the person selling the tickets then those tickets can be traced and cancelled. Ebay won't though because they are making a fortune in fees from touts and the ticket agents are making their money too so won't really care either. It's a shame when you spend helf the morning trying to get through to buy tickets and find that touts have bought so many of them and you can't get one

I wanted Wolverhampton but funnily enough all the tickets were sold out by the time I could get through. It was the same for New Order. Luckily I got some for Placebo at Nottingham but it meant paying a lot more than I intended too for a hospitality suite rather than normal tickets.

Ebay need to do something about touts because there will come a point when people get fed up with being ripped off and stop buying there.
